Family Day is an opportunity for your family to spend time together and learn about the opportunities available for your student at KU.  Please enjoy our scenic campus, museums, dining and many schedule events.  

Stop by the welcome area on Level One of the Kansas Union adjacent to the Tailgate Area, where you will find university staff available and information tables on student services.​  Pick up your KU Parent Association game day bag!

  • KU Events Calendar

  • KU Athletic Tickets - Kansas closes its non-conference portion of the schedule on September 15th with a home game against Big Ten's Rutgers.  It will air on FOX Sports Network, with an 11AM kickoff.   Discounted tickets can be purchased for $20 with promo code 'KUFAM18' at  www.kuathletics.com/promo.  

  • Family Day Tailgate - Grab some food from the KU Dining Tailgate, and your last minute gear from the KU Bookstore pop-up tent. Out on Baumgartner Terrace, Kansas Union, Level 1 two hours before kick-off (9:00AM). 

  • Welcome Area:  One level One of the Kansas Union adjacent to the Tailgate Area you will find University staff available and information tables on student services.​

  • Lied Center 25th Anniversary Celebration: You're invited to an extravaganza of spectacular performances, live music, kid-friendly activities, behind-the-scenes workshops and more.  Friday 9/14 and Saturday 9/15 at the Lied Center.  All FREE!

  • School of Music Collage Concert: Friday, September 14th at 7:30PM at the Lied Center (also free!)
